procedure
for buying a Property
in Turkey:

After
you choose a property,
you make a contract with the seller in solicitor's
office. All details will be written in that agreement. (
solicitor costs 150 sterling)

You
must pay 10 - 30 % of the house's price as deposit at
the contract.

Later
we will take you to the notary, so you can give your
power of attorney to the solicitor, who can act on
behalf of you to buy property and do all the
paperwork for transferring the title deed. ( notary
costs about 40 sterling)

There
will be a legal translator in the solicitor's office and
in the notary, to explain the documents. ( Legal
translator costs 50 sterling)

The
application for the title deed will be done by the
solicitor.
The title deed department informs the Aegean Military
Commandership (AMC). So AMC makes an extensive research
which takes about 3-8 weeks. During the busy season it
may take up to 5 months. This procedure is normally a
formality, up to date no application has been rejected.
After the permission of the AMC, solicitor will apply to the title deed department
to transfer the title deed under your name.

Money of the house should be transferred before taking
the deed .

maintenance charge of £100 - £600.
